Still manufactured in Thiers France, Thiers Issard has been manufacturing fine razors for over 100 years. Today, their razors combine classic craftsmanship with modern design resulting in razors that look as great as they perform.
This impressive 7/8 razor features a hand filed spine in the historic "Points" pattern. The fully mirror polished 135 Carbonsong steel full hollow ground blade includes a detailed two-tone etch, round nose and lower jimping. The razor scales are made from gorgeous black ebony wood. Each Thiers Issard razor includes a high quality soft leather storage sheath in tan, like shown.
In our experience, Thiers Issard razors usually come well honed right from the factory, possibly ready for shaving. As such, we will ship these razors with the factory edge for those clients who would choose to use the factory edge or hone themselves.
